Is ssrmovies.games safe?
Reviews & Trust Report
Ssrmovies.games is a days-old address of the SSR Movies piracy operation, offering unlicensed movie and TV downloads funded by constant pop-up ads, with an unrestricted 18+ section and no named owner. The 26 out of 100 reflects a site that is illegal to download from in many countries and will vanish to a new address when this one is blocked. Avoid it.

Expert review of ssrmovies.games
Our take on ssrmovies.games
This is the newest address of SSR Movies, a long-running piracy operation that gives away Bollywood, Hollywood and regional films, streaming series and TV shows for free. We ran a manual test, and what we found is a site built entirely on stolen content and paid for by throwing ads at you from every direction.
What we flagged
- Everything on it is pirated. The catalog runs to hundreds of pages of films and shows ripped from cinemas and streaming services, including a "Pre Release" section with camera copies of movies still playing in theaters. None of it is licensed. Downloading from sites like this is copyright infringement and can carry legal penalties in many countries.
- Pop-ups come at you constantly. Click almost anything, including the download buttons, and new tabs and pop-up ads open over the page. This ad flood is how the site makes its money, and it is where the real danger sits: fake "your device is infected" warnings, pages begging for notification permission, and pushy prompts to install apps. The movies are the bait; the ads are the business.
- This is a brand-new address for an old operation. This web address was created on October 6, 2026, only days before our check. The people behind SSR Movies run many addresses like this: when one gets blocked, they open a new one and move on. That is exactly why the site itself warns you about "duplicate and fake sites". Whatever address you save today can be gone or replaced tomorrow.
- Adult content sits one click from cartoons. An 18+ section lives in the same menu as animated and family films, with no age checks of any kind. On a shared or family device, that is one careless tap away.
- There is no information about who runs it. No owner, no company, no address, nothing. The site calls itself trusted, but there is no person or business behind that word. If a download harms your device, there is nobody to complain to.
Bottom line: ssrmovies.games is a piracy site on a disposable two-day-old address: illegal to download from in many places, aggressive with pop-ups, and accountable to no one. The free movies are real, and so is everything that comes with them.
If you have already been on it: do not install anything it offered, check your browser's notification permissions and remove anything you do not recognize, and close any tab claiming your device is infected. For actual streaming, use the legal platforms; the films here were stolen from them anyway.

What the rest of the web says about ssrmovies.games
This site links to its own review page as proof it can be trusted. We followed that link and the rest of the brand's trail, and what we found says more than the site intends it to.
Trustpilot
Rating suspended
The brand's profile shows no score: its rating is unavailable due to a guideline breach, and a notice says fake reviews were removed.
Negative reviews
About 1 in 4
27% rate it 1 or 2 stars, almost all complaining the site stops opening or links break.

Warned about
One of the brand's other domains is rated Very Likely Unsafe by an independent safety checker.
We checked the Trustpilot profile registered to the brand's main address, ssrmovies.com, which currently redirects visitors to the very domain in this report. The profile has 114 reviews, 57 of them in the last twelve months, and it wears two public warnings from Trustpilot itself: its rating has been suspended for a breach of guidelines, and a number of fake reviews have been removed. The listed contact details are a street address and phone number in Germany beside an anonymous email account, for a site publishing Hindi movie downloads.
How the reviews break down
Star distribution on the brand's Trustpilot profile (114 reviews) at the time of our check. The overall rating itself is suspended by Trustpilot for a guideline breach.
Reading the reviews explains both ends of that chart. The five-star majority is largely one-line praise with no detail, the kind Trustpilot's fake-review notice puts under a cloud. The negative quarter is more honest and more revealing: nearly every 1-star and 2-star review complains that the site stops opening, that download links are broken, or that titles are missing, because the addresses keep getting blocked. Nobody is reviewing a business; they are reviewing whether a piracy site is up today. And under the low ratings, the operator replies again and again asking reviewers to reconsider and raise their score.
One brand, many addresses
- ssrmovies.com
The brand's main address, holding the suspended review profile; it currently redirects to the domain in this report.
- ssrmoviesi.com
The address the review profile's own website button points to.
- ssrmovies.horse
Promoted in the site's own header as a way to find the operation again.
- ssrmovies.moda
Another address observed linked from the brand's pages.
- ssrmovies.guide
Rated Very Likely Unsafe by an independent safety checker.
- ssrmovies.games
The current address and the subject of this report, registered days before our check.
Listed as a warning record of the operation's movements, not as alternatives. None of these addresses is safe to use.
In short: the one trust badge this site wears was publicly taken away: Trustpilot suspended the brand's rating for a guideline breach after removing fake reviews, a quarter of its remaining reviewers complain the site keeps going dark, and the operation spans at least six disposable addresses, one already rated unsafe by an independent checker. Every signal that looks like trust here was manufactured by the people who profit from it. Treat the whole family of addresses as off-limits.
